The process owner is responsible for

  • leading process teams in the development and use of process management systems
  • providing appropriate process reporting to leadership
  • regularly monitoring and analyzing process measures to ensure optimum performance
  • responding promptly and appropriately to data patterns that indicate problems
  • initiating improvement or redesign efforts as needed
  • providing leadership and direction to those involved in executing process activities
  • helping resolve interface problems
  • documenting changes in the process management system to keep it current and aligned with the changing environment
