Kaizen means “change for the better” (Japanese) and is a philosophy about continuous improvement. A Kaizen workshop has the objective to overcome specific problems and inefficiencies in the work environment by focusing on problem analysis, generating and prioritizing ideas, and implementing solutions.
Typical set-up:
- between 1 to 5 days scheduled in advance or on-demand
- 5-10 participants (employees) from different areas and levels within the organization
- participating management team as necessary
- facilitation by a trained person
